We were so excited to hang out with some Michigan friends for the fourth. We started the day with a lazy morning. We were going to go to some parades but it was supposed to be 115 so we decided to do indoor activities. We ended up going to the mall and letting the boys run around. Charlie's favorite thing was going on the elevator. He likes to call the elevator the elegator. It's so funny. After naps we went to Millecam's house. It was a blast. We went swimming which Charlie loved and then we had hamburgers and homemade french fries and onion rings. We were spoiled. Charlie was so excited that Miles had a snake cake for his birthday. After dinner the boys had a dance party. They danced to the music from Madagascar. Jack was hilarious he was so excited to be on carpet he couldn't help but roll all around and practice new stunts. Jack loves to dance and started twirling in circles on the floor while the other boys did cool little hopping dance moves. It was so much fun. We watched some fireworks on the way home. Hopefully next year we can stay out late enough for fireworks.

hooray, snake cake! i'm so glad that you guys came over. miles had so much fun, and now we're back in town and need to have another dance party soon :)
