This is my favorite credit union. I just had to share their awesome deals. They have car loans for 3.99% and an awesome visa platnium card with a 2.99% fixed rate on all balance transfers for the life of the balance. Here's the link you should check it out http://www.penfed.org You can use the card to transfer your student loans. It's a good way to refinance since no one is refinancing student loans.

we aren't in the military...how did you guys become members?
You don't have to be part of the military. You pay $15 start up fee which can be waved if you say you are referred by us. When we joined we paid $15 of which $10 was donated to the military and $5 went into my account. You can always call them and they are very helpful and will set up an account for you.
